Board Oversight

Boards of directors often play an important role in overseeing their companies’ Compliance & Ethics programs. We have provided guidance to many boards concerning this important aspect of corporate compliance. Among other things, our attorneys have:

  • drafted governance documentation concerning board Compliance & Ethics oversight roles;
  • trained boards on these duties;
  • assessed the oversight of boards of their companies’ programs; and
  • conducted independent assessments for boards as to the efficacy of their companies’ Compliance & Ethics programs and reported to the board on the assessment.
